Alex Rahn is an associate in the firm’s Bankruptcy and Litigation groups and focuses her practice on complex Chapter 11 cases, Subchapter V cases, adversary proceedings, commercial litigation, fraudulent transfer and preference litigation, and workouts throughout the United States. Alex has represented debtors, official committees of creditors, individual creditors, secured lenders, and landlords in chapter 11 cases and out of court workouts. Alex has also represented a federal court-appointed receiver.
Alex has extensive experience representing lenders in the workout, bankruptcy, and/or foreclosure of more than $50 million in secured commercial real estate loans in multiple jurisdictions.
Alex also served as law clerk to Chief Bankruptcy Judge Elizabeth Magner, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Additionally, while in law school, Alex externed with Chief Bankruptcy Judge Stacey G.C. Jernigan, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.
