Emily Shapiro is an Associate whose practice consists of both transactional and litigation matters. Prior to joining Gutnicki LLP, Emily received her bachelor’s degree, Magna Cum Laude, from The Ohio State University in 2020 and her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2023.

During her time at Chicago-Kent, Emily was a Teacher’s Assistant for Contracts and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for the highest grade in Negotiations.

Emily broadened her legal experience working in commercial law firms in Chicago, in-house for a large healthcare system and as a judicial extern to the Honorable Eve M. Reilly in the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County.
