Judy Oppenheim has extensive experience in the area of commercial real estate, sales and acquisitions, commercial finance, and government insured finance projects.

Judy has represented clients in the sale, purchase and financing of commercial real estate transactions. She also has experience representing landlords and tenants in the leasing and operation of shopping center properties; institutional lenders in loans and loan workouts; and experience in overseeing nationwide due diligence for loan securitization projects.

Ms. Oppenheim also practices in the area of multifamily housing and health care projects representing lenders and owners in the acquisition, financing and refinancing of government insured housing projects.

Prior to joining Gutnicki LLP, Judy practiced law at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP as a member of the Business Practice Group; Katten Muchin Zavis where she specialized in commercial real estate; and was in-house counsel for a Real Estate Development Company.

Ms. Oppenheim graduated cum laude from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN. She attended Chicago-Kent College of Law where she was a member of the Moot Court Society before receiving her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
