Kelley is an accomplished attorney focusing on complex commercial litigation across a range of litigation and appellate matters in both federal and state courts.
His practice encompasses class-action, securities, and bankruptcy litigation, as well as contract, construction, and insurance disputes. Kelley is also well-versed in cases involving business torts, unfair business practices, attorney general actions, and white-collar criminal defense. He manages all facets of litigation, including fact investigation, discovery, motion practice, alternative dispute resolution, and trial. Moreover, Kelley has a wealth of experience in drafting appellate briefs for federal and state courts, along with supreme court writs across various jurisdictions.
Kelley's experience extends to arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association (AAA), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and JAMS, and he has experience with post-arbitration proceedings in federal court.
His expertise further includes government investigations and regulatory matters, representing clients in inquiries initiated by the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and state attorneys general.
Prior to his role at Gutnicki, Kelley served as an associate within the complex commercial litigation departments of distinguished global and national law firms.
