Rebecca is an accomplished litigator focusing on complex commercial litigation across a range of litigation and regulatory matters in both federal and state courts. Throughout her 15+ year career, Rebecca has successfully resolved disputes in the areas of class-action, complex business, commercial, intellectual property, and consumer litigation. She manages all facets of litigation, including fact investigation, discovery, motion practice, alternative dispute resolution, and trial. While not exhaustive, some recent representative litigation matters include: Representation of large energy company in complex breach-of-contract trial to achieve results beyond pre-litigation expectations, large tech company in class action and complex breach-of-contract action, medical providers in various cases and regulatory actions involving Medicare classification, business organization, and misconduct, Fortune 500 company in high-visibility tort litigation, software development company in trade secret litigation where former employees left to form competing business entity

Rebecca’s experience extends to arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and JAMS, and she has experience with post-arbitration proceedings in federal court. Her expertise further includes government investigations and regulatory matters, representing clients in inquiries initiated by the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and state attorneys general. Prior to her role at Gutnicki, Rebecca served as a litigator in the complex commercial litigation departments of distinguished global and national law firms.
